Located on a country road in Alton Bay, in the heart of the beautiful Lakes Region, surrounded by New Hampshire's lakes and mountains, ensures that your stay will be peaceful. Alton Bay is a small waterfront community where people gather to enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment. Restaurants, concerts, fireworks, craft fairs and special events, take place daily during the summer months.

The Fourth of July in the Lakes Region is an amazing experience. Fireworks can be seen all around the lake at King Birch Motor Lodge. Have dinner in the bay, and watch the fireworks explode overhead. Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, or just relaxing by the water at King Birch Motor Lodge. Sit at water's edge on one of our docks or swim area, or venture out onto the nearby country roads. Whether you are taking a drive, hiking a mountain, or just walking the roadsides, the Lakes Region scenery is breathtaking.

King Birch Motor Lodge offers a mooring if you sail. Boat rentals are available through local marinas, and dock rentals can be reserved at the lodge. Rent or bring your own boat and have it waiting for you just outside your front door. Boat docking, on-site trailer parking, jet ski moorings and off-street parking must be reserved in advance. A free public boat launch and marina are nearby.
